As 2023 has been declared the "Controversial Era" of Spaghetti Town, this week the Lords of Spaghetti go in on an American tradition. Jakub has become enthralled with a 'talking' dog.  Alex talks about a historical comeback and the Lords dissect the Last of Us episode 1. The worst thing that can happen for this podcast is for Jakub to start being right on his crazy theories and its starting to happen. Also, be careful what color loofah you put on your golf cart. Chasing The Tail

Once again, the year has turned and the seats of Spaghetti Town remain occupied. Jakub tries to bring his new controversial attitude to the forefront but stumbles quickly. 2023 has already had a ton of eventful instances and were not even a week in. Alex brings a story that is absolute nightmare fuel and then tries to see if Jakub can be consistent on his takes about 'attention seeking' internet dolts. The question then wraps back around to what is deemed 'weird' and the authenticities of 'being ones true self'; It took until the year 2023 for Jakub to realize that a cartoon animal was in fact, a real animal. Children have mastered the ability to stall and procrastinate and it should be studied. Tons of UFO reports have hit the US government, which becomes a battle of opinions on what would happen if there was a full disclosure. Jakub and Alex have very different opinions.

As the final episode of 2022 comes to a head, The Lords of Spaghetti reminisce about the podcast as whole and where they are from a mindset standpoint as they go into 2023 and even how the landscape of podcasting has drastically changed since they started. They also name their favorite comics, movies, tv shows, videogames and episodes of the year. What goals do they have going into the next year? Jakub wants to go super controversial while Alex thinks it not worth losing the authenticity of the pod. Never sell yourself out, unless its for a lot of money. Like TONS of money.

As we seemingly edge closer to the end of Twitter, the Lords of Spaghetti talk about a 'time traveler' who uses Tik-Tok. Alex finds all sorts of flaws in it. A celebrity changed his name for 'climate change' and Alex thinks its dumb. Jakub and Alex feel inspired by a 23 year old Mayor and contemplate whether they could do it. Alex brings a list for Jakub but he thinks its AI generated!
