An action packed week stuffed to the gills with news! An Elden Ring movie is getting made and Jakub is hopeful. GTA6 delayed and the Lords of Spaghetti couldn't care less. Jakub is catching up on the best show of 2024 & pennies are being discontinued! Alex encountered a possible witch in the wild. Grave robbing is still a thing in 2025. Spaghetti Town welcomes a new guest into its hallowed halls as longtime Bethesda developer Nate Purkeypile joins the pod. He discusses his origins and when he knew he wanted to be a game developer. He transcribes how he got to Bethesda and what it was like working on some of the biggest gaming titles of the last 20 years. He discusses if he has any sentimental feelings for those games anymore since he was there when they were made. Nate explains why he decided to go indie and start his own studio. He's also jumped from the Creation Engine to now using Unreal and the benefits of that. Nate also talks about some of his inspirations and what he might be working on in the future as well as his experience in the Thunderdome at Burning Man. Sometimes the Lords of Spaghetti get deep! They discuss all the issues with getting older, parenting, and delve even further into trauma that caused them to be the way they are. Therapy is good for you. Nostalgia is powerful thing as Jakub thinks back to his field days in school and how fond those memories are. Alex replays a game from his childhood and its unplayable. The Lords of Spaghetti experienced an earthquake. Alex has more fancy words and gives Jakub a game to play in the office.  Time is fleeting and its best to find the joy where you can!

Alex brings up how funny it is that Jakub needs to be convinced and how he tries to not take it personally. An R&B lead singer has an incident. As if society needs more ways to be tethered to a phone, the Netherlands have made your phone accessible by shoes. The question is, 'what is the point?' We've hit the point of retrying old fads again.
