Stranded, Man

Pay attention to the water, there might be something in it! Jakub asks Alex to explain Joker lore and a debate ensues. Alex and Jakub both must be on the juice as they struggle to speak in coherent sentences more than normal. Alex gets irritated at idiots trying to commit fraud and then ask for sympathy. Jakub tries to defend it. NFL season starts back up and a certain organization is against face recognition, which is irony at its finest. Kentucky State Fair controversy! A man gets stranded on an island and informs the rescuers to come back later. A rare fish is spotted off the coast of California and of course people are doing dumb things with its corpse. Astronauts that are definitely not stuck in space are hearing noises, this time with recorded proof! Spooky!

Visions of Illusions

It's the Dynamic Duo this week as the morbs have taken over, but as always the pod removes the funk! Alex poses a question about a new deodorant. Alex also brings some video game topics to talk about and tries to tread carefully as to not deep dive, but Jakub gets unzipped about the new WoW expansion. Try to stay awake, or fast forward. A fan favorite celebrity gets a hockey contract, which further cements his legacy as all around good dude. A.I hacked some Spotify playlists with a very specific target in mind. A new streaming service is trying to enter the market and the Lords of Spaghetti are not interested. You know how it goes!

Spaghetti Town offices are crowded this week as the Geeksploration crew hang out to talk about their current Kickstarter comic, Space Oddities issue 3! Jon and Ben talk about what they've been up to this summer and what took so long between Kickstarters. They also discuss their future aspirations of the series, both long and short term! Alex brings a comic related tweet for them to discuss about artist vs writer. They also talk about some of the lessons they've learned along the way. Got The Morbs

Spaghetti Town goes International once again as they open the doors to Frederick Hornung, an up and coming German comic book artist! Frederik gives his origin stories, what inspired him, and his unique perspective of the USA among other topics. Alex and Frederik worked together on Polar Destroyer issue 2 and they unveiled the cover, while describing how they met and how he approached the cover. Frederik talks about his work ethic, tips for time management and how he is able to take on the various influx of work. Jakub brings a list of places in Germany for Frederik to rate. Frederik has a busy latter half of 2024, so be sure to check out all his works!

As it dawns on the Lords of Spaghetti that they missed their 5th Anniversary, they make a stark realization about how long they've been doing it. Alex and Jakub talk about dress codes and styles. Alex provides an update on his summer 'to-do' list. The children are starting school again, so that means the dreadful summer is almost at its end. Jakub wants to be like Alex when it comes to decorating for Halloween. Alex brings the dark origins to some notable nursery rhymes. An update to a funeral home brought to your attention a year ago. Astronauts are stuck in space, allegedly.

Self Conscious Numbers

When a seemingly innocent math mistake is made, there are two paths to take. The correct one and the one Jakub takes. Alex makes two corrections. They give their impressions on Deadpool and Wolverine. Gojira performed at the Olympics and Alex laughs at peoples fake outrage. Some SDCC wrap up as well as new Hunt Showdown details. Jakub gets mad at a new court ruling regarding a specific food item.

A quiet week doesn't mean The Lords of Spaghetti are going to be silent. Comic Con is the week and Alex ponders the question if it's worth it anymore. Deadpool & Wolverine releases this week, but will it be enough to bring Alex back to the MCU (spoilers: No). The Olympics are also beginning this week and they might partake in the festivities. Dark oxygen was discovered, but what does it mean? Whales are back to the their silly shenanigans in the ocean again. Don't drink mysterious liquids you find in bottles in the ocean. Seems obvious. Alex finds out about a wizard.

The internet is forever. Jakub makes it through a surgery and one of his first orders of business was to send Alex some voice messages while he is doped up out of his mind. Naturally, Alex saved them for you all. Jakub then recalls the day of his surgery. Alex went to a convention and made some business choices. When will they learn? They've decided to put human skin on robots now. Online gaming has its issues, but how far is one person willing to go to get revenge? Jakub was tasked with homework and attempts to come up with some nicknames for Alex. Alex speaks to the origin of his nickname.
