A quiet week doesn't mean The Lords of Spaghetti are going to be silent. Comic Con is the week and Alex ponders the question if it's worth it anymore. Deadpool & Wolverine releases this week, but will it be enough to bring Alex back to the MCU (spoilers: No). The Olympics are also beginning this week and they might partake in the festivities. Dark oxygen was discovered, but what does it mean? Whales are back to the their silly shenanigans in the ocean again. Don't drink mysterious liquids you find in bottles in the ocean. Seems obvious. The internet is forever. Jakub makes it through a surgery and one of his first orders of business was to send Alex some voice messages while he is doped up out of his mind. Its America's birthday, so naturally it's time to banter! A new viral sport takes the internet by storm, but there is a catch. There are two sides to every story and that is certainly the case for Sierra Mist. Alex and Jakub lose their minds over decades old movies and get them confused with each other. Everything is quantifiable, even fun apparently as Alex brings the 'Fun Scale' to the table to give you a scientific tier list of fun. A pop icon gets arrested and a streaming influencer turns out to be a scumbag. Not one but TWO surprise run ins make a surprise appearance. Alex asks 'What's the best base?', but Jakub was thinking of a different base. Not only are churches exempt from paying taxes, but so are sex dungeons! A former mafia capo gets whacked, but it may have been an accident. With Jakub's recent social media cleanse, Alex brings him up to speed on the latest viral sensation. NASA isn't held liable for their space trash exploding into your house, if you're an American. Go figure.

Not Our Best Work

Even when you give maximum effort, you can sometimes get minimal results. That's the gamble of life and podcasting. Jakub is back from vacation and has decided to branch out next year.  Some random person spent 20K on a purse and you'll never guess what its made of. Which begs the question, "What would you buy just for the novelty?" A comic book store has a new in-store policy and Alex is over the moon about it.
